Day 2 Teaser
We spend today in Clear Lake and Mason City, visiting 18 bars plus the crash site where The Music Died. We also got lost tonight walking aroun d in Mason City after the bars closed -- only figuring out after we reached the far side of town that we had walked the opposite way from out motel.

Best bar in that area - Dam Bar in Mitchell/Osage. Try it if you can. Great t-shirts about getting drunk in that dam bar!

And if you go to the VFW in St. Ansgar, you might meet my grandpa. And if he's drunk enough, you'll get some good war stories out of him! :)
